I’ve just discovered your blog through Baby Boomer. I live in Northern Ireland just across the pond from where you are walking and have to confess that I hadn’t heard of the coast to coast walk. it must be very beautiful and interesting. The area is featured a lot on the BBC program Countryfile. Our daughter did the Camino de Santiago last year – a 5 week hike. You might want to try that one next year. She met people from 7 to 70.

Thanks so much for writing, Hazel. I’m hoping to get to Ireland too; I can already tell that this walk will lead to many more.
